Greg has been named a "Teaching All-Star" at Kenan-Flagler Business School for academic years 2004-2006 and 2007-2008. The award is based on student evaluations. For 2005-2006 and 2007-2008, he received the award "with distinction," meaning that his average evaluation scores were over 4.5 on a five-point scale.

In addition to presenting Applied Improv at the above venues, Greg has taught improv, presentation skills, and acting at colleges, universities, theaters, arts centers, and schools throughout the Southeast with Transactors Improv. He co-teaches Artistic Entrepreneurship at UNC and is also an actor and director.
